SummaryAfter storing files on the computer, the number of files increases under overlapping changes, and neglecting organization can make the folders chaotic. Therefore, every day's files need to be marked with the date for easier management and searching. After organizing and collecting the files that need a date prefix, renaming each file one by one to input the date prefix on the far left of the file name is very time-consuming. Below is an introduction on how to batch add date and other content to the far left of file names.

1、Usage Scenarios

Batch generate date prefix content on the far left of specified file names for a large number of files.

For example: Team Meeting Minutes.docx, Budget Analysis Document.xlsx, Action Plan Overview.pptx

After adding the date content 2025-1-16 to the far left of the files, they become 2025-1-16 Team Meeting Minutes.docx, 2025-1-16 Budget Analysis Document.xlsx, 2025-1-16 Action Plan Overview.pptx.
